
Dr. Pedro Paulo Gattai Gomes is an accomplished scientist with over 20 years of extensive experience in the fields of molecular biology, nephrology, and biochemistry. His academic journey is marked by a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Nephrology, coupled with a Bachelor's in Physical Education. Dr. Gomes' research portfolio spans cutting-edge topics such as mammalian cell culture, stem cell research, genetics, and bioinformatics, solidifying his expertise in both basic and applied sciences. Over the years, he has published 13 scientific works, including nine research articles, four book chapters, two books and a doctoral thesis, showcasing his dedication to advancing knowledge in life sciences.

His postdoctoral research at the University of Sao Paulo investigated the role of microRNA-26a in breast cancer and renal tissue repair, leveraging advanced cellular and molecular biology techniques.
